What OphyAI does

OphyAI is an interview prep and interview copilot product for job seekers. It covers the steps from applying to the final round:

  • Interview Practice. Voice or text mock interviews with an AI interviewer that asks role-specific questions, follows up on your answers and can be interrupted naturally. Feedback after every response covers clarity, structure, relevance and delivery, with a live transcript. Load a saved resume and job description so the session fits your target role. Types include behavioral, situational, role-specific, coding, system design and case interviews.
  • Coding Practice. 178 problems (153 algorithm problems across 18 patterns, plus 25 Terraform tasks) in Python and JavaScript, with hints, an AI coach that checks your plan and reviews your code, and timed mock coding rounds with a voice AI interviewer and a scorecard.
  • AI Resume Builder. Build a resume, score it against a job description and review missing keywords before you apply.
  • Application Assistant. Cover letters and other application documents drafted from your resume and the job description, with a live preview and PDF download.
  • Job Search and Application Tracker. Find jobs and track every application through 8 stages, with reminders and calendar export.
  • Interview Copilot. Live help during real interviews on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex and phone calls, in 35 languages, where the employer allows it.

Premium modes

Premium adds five tools on top of everything in Pro:

  • System Design: mock rounds of 35 to 60 minutes on a built-in whiteboard with a voice AI interviewer, up to 3 hints, and a scorecard with a 0 to 100 score and 7 skill scores, plus a Live Copilot for real rounds. 20 credits a mock round, 30 a live session.
  • Customer Service: practice tests of 5, 10 or 20 original questions for six kinds of jobs, with every option explained and a skills scorecard (5 credits a test), plus live help (15 credits). A free 3-question sample is open on any plan.
  • Coding Interview: live help in technical and live coding rounds. 15 credits a session.
  • One-way Interview: live help in recorded video interviews. 15 credits a session, 25 Advanced.
  • Aptitude Test: reads multiple-choice questions in the desktop app. 15 credits a test.

The live modes are only for interviews and tests whose rules allow AI help. Check first.

Where it runs

  • Web. Interview Practice, Coding Practice, the resume and application tools, Job Search and the tracker all run in a browser. Customer Service, One-way Interview and System Design need Chrome or Edge.
  • Mac and Windows desktop app. Adds live help that hears the call through system audio, with an answer window that macOS and Windows leave out of screen sharing and recording. Aptitude Test mode is desktop only. See the desktop app page.
  • iPhone and Android apps. Voice or text Interview Practice, resume and job tools, and the live Copilot, which listens through the phone's microphone. Coding Practice, Customer Service and System Design are not in the phone apps. Get them on the App Store or Google Play.

Interview Copilot works in 35 languages. The practice pages do not state a language count, so test your language in a free session.

Honest limits

  • Credits. Practice, resume and cover letter tools use credits from the same allowance as live sessions. After the first free session on a paid plan, a text practice session uses 10 credits and a voice session 15.
  • A small free plan. The Free plan's 5-credit grant covers one practice session capped at 15 minutes. Full cover letters, Job Search and the full Coding Practice library need Pro.
  • Premium for assessments. Customer Service practice tests, System Design mock rounds and the other Premium modes need the $59 plan. Free accounts get a 3-question Customer Service sample and 4 Coding Practice problems.
  • Language. Interview Copilot lists 35 languages; the practice pages do not state a language count.
  • Not every tool is on the phone. Coding Practice, Customer Service and System Design are not in the phone apps.
  • AI drafts need checking. Resume and cover letter suggestions are editing aids. Check every skill, date, number and claim before you send anything.
  • Refunds. No money-back guarantee on monthly plans. First-time quarterly and yearly plans get 3 days (72 hours).
  • Feedback is not a forecast. Practice feedback helps you improve. It does not tell you whether you will get the job.

Rules

Practice is yours to do as you like. Live help in a real interview, and any help during an online test, is different: employers' rules differ, and many tests say no outside help. Check the rules for each interview or test, ask the recruiter if you are unsure, and if AI help is not allowed, do not use it.

Can I practice interviews on my phone with OphyAI?

Yes. The iPhone and Android apps include voice or text Interview Practice, plus resume and job tools and the live Copilot. Coding Practice, Customer Service and System Design run on the web and desktop instead.

Is the OphyAI Application Tracker free?

Yes. It is on every plan with no limit. It tracks applications through 8 stages, sets follow-up and deadline reminders, and exports interviews to Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar.
