What "best" means here

"Best" names the focus of this guide and its recommendation for one use case: getting ready for interviews and managing a job search. It is not a claim that every tool was measured on the same test, and it is not a league table. Who runs the site is explained on the About page.

The criteria

1. Spoken practice with follow-up questions and feedback on each answer, not only a final score.
2. Practice built from your resume and the job description, so it reflects the role you want.
3. Coverage of the formats job seekers face: behavioral, situational, technical, case, one-way video and screening tests.
4. Help with applications: resume, cover letter and a tracker tied to the same job.
5. Runs where you are: web, desktop and phone.
6. A free start and published prices, with plain limits and refund rules.
7. Clear guidance on rules for live help and online tests.

Evidence

OphyAI facts come from ophyai.com, its app store listings and the apps themselves, read on November 8, 2026. Each entry lists its sources, and the Sources page collects them all. If a feature could not be confirmed, it is left out. Practice plans and example answers are original editorial guidance.

What we did not do

• No outcome claims. There are no pass rates or offer rates here. Practice helps, but results depend on you, the role and the employer.
• No paid placement. No tool paid to appear, and there are no affiliate links.
• No ratings or testimonials. No star ratings, reviews, user counts or logos.
• No test answers. The assessment entries teach formats and practice methods, not answers to any employer's real test.

How other tools are listed

The homepage lists other interview tools people compare, in alphabetical order. Each gets one plain line from its own website and a link to it. There are no scores, prices, or pros and cons, because prices change often and a short factual line stays accurate longer. Check each tool's own site before you pay.

Updates and corrections

Every page shows the date its content was reviewed. Plans and features are re-checked at least every three months, and sooner when a product changes. To report an error, email ophyai@ophyai.com with a link to the page that shows the right fact.
